Auto-Union and Mercedes-Benz – quite an interesting story. When Mercedes Benz took over Auto-Union in 1959, there was also the F1000 van developed in Spain at IMOSA. And this was now fitted with the OM636 diesel engine from Mercedes-Benz – and was the starting point for a long collaboration between IMOSA (later MEVOSA).
The F1000-D became the forerunner of the MB100, a completely new and quite successful, albeit qualitatively questionable, generation of Mercedes vans. And so on this F1000-D you can find the lettering of Auto-Union, the Audi rings and a Mercedes Benz badge. Later, the van becomes the Mercedes N1300. The basic design of the F1000, which interestingly came from #Fissore, can still be seen in the first MB100 built between 1981 and 1987. This remarkable piece of Spanish car history is in the LKW depot, the truck collection, of the PS-Speicher Einbeck/Germany.

Absolutely, but when I look at all the Pike-Cars, the Pao remains my abolute favourite :)
The Nissan S-Cargo was also quite a neat design from the 90s. 😊
